Meru Shri Yantra

Composition:

There are three kinds of Shri Yantras viz. Bhu Prishtha, Koorma Prishtha and Meru Prishtha. Shri Yantra that is plain is called as Bhu prishtha (Back of the Earth) details of which are available under the Shri Yantra section. Shri Yantra that is raised on a tortoise back is called “Koorma Prishtha” and that which is raised fully like the Sumeru Mountain is called Meru Prishtha Shri Yantra.

In a two dimensional form it is composed of 9 intertwined isosceles triangles forming 43 triangles including the central triangle that denotes the cosmos or a womb symbolic of creation.

The Shri Yantra in a three dimensional Meru form is a multi pyramid cosmic grid signifying unlimited abundance and positive powers. This multi pyramidal geometry has five levels around the center at different heights, with the centermost level at the top.

First level from base is Bhupur, second is three concentric circles, third is a ring of 16 petal lotus and 8 petals lotus, fourth is a set of pyramid triangles and fifth one is the top most dot (Bindu). Further, at the fourth level pyramid triangles are having five steps representing 9 intertwined triangles of shri yantra forming 43 triangles.

This complete structure with the base angle of 51.5032 degrees makes the Meru Shri Yantra more potent than its two dimensional form. Thus the Meru is an ideal corrective tool for disturbed spatial energies.

The Meru is an embodiment of Goddess Lakshmi (abundance) and Tripura Sundari (beauty). It is the Chakra of Shri Vidya, sacred knowledge of the Goddess. It can also be seen as the unification of masculine divine and feminine divine: Shiva and Shakti, Lakshmi and Narayana, Purusha and Prakriti.

Shri Yantra balances & harmonises the aura around the native and removes negative energy. Therefore, when it is placed at home, office or factory, the place is purified by the power of the mystical geometry of Shri Yantra. It blesses the native with success and wealth with unlimited abundance and positive power. Not even by worshipping it but just seeing this yantra daily in the morning could bless the native/viewer with its power from the very first day.
Defects in the northeast and north are the most serious ones, therefore, it can be effectively used for correcting defects of the north (direction of health, fortune, career, and money) and northeast (energetically the most sacred and important area of any building). When placed in the northeast, it improves the spatial energies of the whole premises.
The Meru Shri Yantra is a valuable corrective tool. Even if a home, office or factory has been built according to Vaastu, the Meru is a great energetic blessing that enhances the flow of vibrant energy of health and abundance.
The effectiveness of three-dimensional Meru Shri Yantra can be optimized by correct placement of the same. The Meru strengthens feminine energies in the house. North placement of the Meru is beneficial for enhancing financial flow and good fortune and for helping to balance a closed north with no windows or doors.
The Meru in the east, where it can be exposed to direct sunlight, is quite brilliant. Tests with skin resistance measurements have shown that the Meru harmonizes all twelve meridians in the body, so it can also be useful to set it up at your working place, in your office, or in the living room in order to harmonize these areas.

Energization Yantra Specific:

Soak in saline water overnight (Thursday night). This takes away all negativity from the metal. Then take it out, wash with normal water and keep on moist earth (mud) under sunlight for few hours. Then take it for Puja.
Place Yantra on a plate and wash it with water and milk mixed with saffron. Then wash it again with Ganga Jal. Light incense and sprinkle water where the Yantra is to be kept.
A Shivalinga can also be placed near the Yantra during energization.
Place yellow cloth and put the yantra on it. Put Kum Kum/Sandal paste and a coral mala on the Yantra. Offer red chunri/cloth and sacred perfume to yantra.
Start putting kumkum/sandal paste on central dot with chanting of mantra and repeat same by touching the tips of the petal clockwise and outwards. After finishing all the petals, do the same in anti-clockwise towards the center.
Offer akshat, flowers (yellow), Gur (jaggery), raw turmeric and incense to the Yantra. Chant 108 times the following mantra (written in Mantra section) with Lotus seed rosary.
Then cover the Shri Yantra with a red cloth. If possible daily puja of yantra is good but every Friday one should pray and worship the yantra without lifting from seat after lifting the red cloth. Offer Moli, Roli, Akshat, fresh flowers (yellow), Gur (jaggery) and raw turmeric etc., incense to the Yantra. During the puja recite “Shri suktam”.
The tip of the Shri Yantra is called the aerial or antenna in scientific term and is called Mahatripur Sundari, which means Niwas Sthaan (home) of Sampoorna (all) Devis and Devtas (God and Goddess) in religious terms.
Meditation is done on the tip of the Shri Yantra (Mahatripur Sundari) and while chanting Mahalakshmi Mantra concentrate on the tip and meditate with open eyes. It is also helpful for students in achieving focus and intelligence.

Placement:

It should be installed at home/office on a Friday under a good muhurta. It can also be installed on Deepawali day.
