Six Mukhi Rudraksha

The six mukhi rudraksha has six facets and it gives the wearer a practical outlook, a steady mind and enhanced focus. Its ruling planet is Venus. Venus governs the reproductive organs, throat, sexual pleasure, prostate gland, love and music. Its malefic effects can cause diseases and problems related to these organs. It removes dullness, gives learning, wisdom and knowledge. It saves one from the worldly sorrows. This bead also helps women in diseases like hysteria and other mental illness. Those interested in tantra also get benefitted by it. It also helps students and businessmen. This rudraksha should be worn by journalists, company managers, businessmen, and editors.

The six mukhi rudraksha is symbolic of Kartikeya, the son of Rudra and Sharda. The wearer’s mind gets a professional outlook, increased business acumen and steady mind. It helps develop new ideas and directions in professional and business life. It confers knowledge of the very highest kind.

Men should wear this Rudraksha in the right hand and women should wear it in the left hand after chanting the mantra.

Shiva Purana
(Shiva Purana Chapter XXV)

71. A Rudraksha with six faces is Kartikeya. A man who wears it on the right arm is certainly absolved of the sins of brahmin-slaughter and the like.

Padma Purana
(Shrishti Kand Chapter 57)

A Brahmin wearing six mukhi rudraksha is worshipped by Kings, a Kshatriya (warrior-class) obtains victory and Vaishya-Shudras remain full with wealth & luxury. For these people Gauri (Parvati) is blissful and remains available like mother. Therefore, the male wearer of six mukhi becomes a victorious person of the world by his physical power. He becomes great in oratory and keeps patience. In an assembly, at King’s place and during discussions he remains a great articulator (& debater) having patience. He never becomes pitiful or remains a weakling. He definitely does not get broken. All these virtues and other similar virtues are in six mukhi rudraksha by wearing it.
